Hello, my name is Marisol Garcia. I am first generation Mexican-American who has worked in a community mental health clinic for the past 12 years. I've gone through my own life experiences, from which I've worked on overcoming through therapy. I believe this have given me the opportunity to empathize with client, while also drawing knowledge I've gained through my education and training, as well as my own therapy, in order to help you, the client. First session jitters are real. Let me ease your mind a bit by telling you what you can expect. I typically want to learn about you, the client. I want to learn about your strengths, challenges and short and long term goals. I also want us to discuss and clarify any expectations that you might have regarding your treatment.
