My approach is strength based ‘technical eclecticism’, tailoring interventions to the needs and preferences of each client. Therapeutic interventions take on a whole person approach and emphasize the importance of ‘person in environment’. An individual is required to navigate the overlapping systems (career, family, interpersonal relationships, community etc.) At times, a variety of stressors can compromise an individual’s healthy functioning within these symptoms and exacerbate mental health symptoms. I come alongside clients to help them develop coping skills, identify the etiology of their symptoms and process trauma.
