About
Call me Dr. K! I am a licensed clinical social worker with a passion to actively participate in educating the world on trauma prevention and the prevention of gun violence. I am an advocate for the fair treatment of others and quality care for all. When I'm not providing therapy I am volunteering my time in the community or looking for opportunities to share knowledge of the impact of trauma. First sessions generally begin with introductions, a review of your ideas for care and learning how we can work together. During your session feel free to bring questions you may have or share past experiences in care. Past clients have challenged me to become a well-rounded clinician. They have inspired me to find creative ways to conduct sessions. From home visits making arts & crafts with children to hearing a client share advice from a session to a family member. I strive to think outside the box for therapy to bring about change.
