Most individuals come to me when new or stressful life circumstances have overwhelmed their traditional coping strategies. We work together to understand the circumstances that they are facing, the distress that they are experiencing, and explore strategies for reducing their distress and enhancing their well-being. Together we form an understanding partnership that enables them to face the world with more effective coping strategies and improved relationship skills. My theoretical approaches include emotion-focused and psychodynamic therapy. My clients describe me as empathetic, effective and collaborative.
