I am a highly trained and seasoned therapist for individuals, couples and families. With years of experience, I have helped many people handle difficult problems and painful life circumstances and go on to live happier and more fulfilling lives.. Listening, respect, compassion and empathy are the core; so is the skillfulness and knowledge I bring in adapting different approaches/modalities to your unique situation. My credentials include Assistant Clinical Professor, Yale Medical School and Fulbright Scholar in Clinical Psychology, former Adjunct, Smith College School for Social Work, publications; many presentations and workshops. We will start by creating a safe and comfortable space in which you can just be yourself and feel heard, understood and validated. The focus will be dialogue. New possibilities will come from our exploration and exchange. I am confident in what I do: IFS to address the effects of trauma, within a relational practice, with psychodynamic & systemic influences.
