I offer a broad set of skills and experiences after my 30+ years in mental health care. I love working with people of all ages, from young preschoolers to older adults, and needs, including with persons on the autism spectrum and DD/ID and caregivers. I approach therapy with a lens of building independence and self-sufficiency while balancing that with a client-guided pace. I like to create a space where talking is comfortable and help is accessible to all. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and have been trained in a multitude of modalities, such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, somatic approaches and CBIT. I also engage in play therapy, play in therapy and art in therapy for individuals of all levels.
