I have over 20 years of experience as a social worker and therapist and over 14 years as an art therapist. I have worked with children and families in a variety of settings and capacities. I started my career working in foster care and residential settings and have experience working with grief/loss, trauma, family discord, behavioral and emotional issues, and mood disorders. Since becoming a parent in 2006, I have a passion for working with parents, women and mothers as well as adolescents. I am able to engage individuals who may be uncomfortable with traditional talk therapy. I utilize both verbal and non verbal approaches to therapy, tailoring my style of therapy to the clients needs and goals. In June 2017, I completed a course in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
