I believe good therapy creates change, resolves issues, heals emotional wounds, and expands our capacity to cope with life's challenges. Most people come into therapy in pain or in some sort of crises. I work with clients to help them see this crises as an opportunity for personal growth and healing. My style is warm, engaging and direct. I believe that good therapy produces cognitive, behavioral and emotional changes. I work creatively with the strengths of the individual to build a strong, collaborative alliance to help reach stated goals of treatment. I have had extensive training in couple's therapy, group therapy and dealing with loss. I work with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/bereavement. I work with adults, couples, and families. I incorporate mindfulness into my work extensively when appropriate.
