You're at an age that you thought would have at least some of your dreams come together, instead you're settling for almost getting there. Stuck, trapped, one step forward but two steps back are the feelings you try to push away or ignore. Usually in unhelpful ways. This isn't the the person your younger self thought you would be. The good news is you know you're not done working towards the future you that feels fulfilled. Daydreaming about going to a job you don't stare at a clock, or a home that's in a quiet neighborhood, a partner that makes you laugh, or sharing your hobby with a special someone can become reality. No one has built a bridge solo, and we all need help for things we're not experts in.
