If you're looking for comprehensive counseling for your teen, you've come to the right profile! My name is Maura Tapia and I am a trained mental health therapist and school behavior interventionist. With many hours of training to focus specifically on contemporary issues with children and adolescents, I am here to support the young person in your life be the best version of themselves. I have specific training to focus on trauma, anxiety, and other multicultural specific needs, to best fit diverse clients. My approach not only supports teens in need but also helps build strong support systems that help the child thrive. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, life transitions or a combination of everything, I use a humanistic approach to understand my clients and assist them in paving their distinct path to change. I focus on creating an inclusive and non-judgmental space for adolescents and adults to explore and meet their goals.
