I consider myself a teacher. While individual histories, financial circumstances and issues may vary, my clients share a common tie in their desire for a better life. Anxiety, depression, relationship issues and other symptoms are a direct result of an underlying belief system problem. Many of those beliefs are unconscious and the goal of good therapy is to address those underlying issues. My process is at once practical, thoughtful and life changing and I often find that people who have tried other types of therapy often feel relieved to have found my approach refreshing. "I feel so comfortable talking to you", is a statement I hear often in my office. Use your life experience to evaluate any therapist you hire. Kindness and empathy are key qualities to look for in a therapist-these cannot be "tested for".
