My name is Mavernie Mitchell. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with a focus on Mental Health. I have done this work for many years, feel blessed by the patients I work with, and consider it an honor to work with those who seek mental health treatment. My work is focused, goal-directed, purposeful, and problem-centered, while offering support, warmth, caring, and deep regard for patients' rights and potential for change. I treat every session as an opportunity to make progress. In my work, I use several theoretical approaches but mostly Cognitive Behavioral, Client-Centered, and Problem-Solving.
