Hello! I’m Lauren Ruthven, LCSW, a licensed therapist with 18 years of experience dedicated to supporting teens, young adults, and adults as they navigate the complexities of life. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel able to move towards a purposeful and value-driven life. I have a passion for working with teens and young adults, recognizing some of the unique challenges that come during those formative years. I also welcome adults who are looking to work through life transitions, relationship issues, or personal growth. I will work with you to understand your unique experiences and develop strategies that fit with your individual needs. I utilize evidence-based approaches including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to find the approach that fits you best. I am also an EMDR trained therapist.
