Living with a health diagnosis or caring for a loved one with a medical condition can affect every part of daily life. I am passionate about helping patients, caregivers, and family members cope during what can feel like an incredibly demanding time. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked for over a decade in a hospital setting as a Child Life Specialist supporting families through diagnoses, medical procedures, and prolonged care. That experience, in addition to lived experience, shaped my belief in family-centered care and my understanding of how health challenges impact the entire family.
