I work with clients of all ages in helping develop an understanding around what is creating and maintaining challenges; and, bring more regulation and less stress to everyday living. My work is influenced by current research on play therapy, neurobiology, attachment and the mind body connection. Synergetic Play Therapy, is a cutting edge model focused on re-patterning the nervous system. Through play, mindfulness, and attunement, self-regulation is facilitated. As the nervous system calms down, extreme responses decrease. With new experiences of their internal and external worlds, new neural pathways are created, providing access to new behaviors.
