I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. I graduated from Boston College with my master's in social work. I help adults who have been struggling with trauma (past or present) as well as adults and elders who are struggling with life transitions. I have a lot of experience with teens and adults who are struggling with body image issues as well as daily life stressors. I have experience treating children of all ages as I have been a school counselor as well as a teacher. I have worked in schools as well as outpatient mental health centers. During our first session together, we will do some introductions and brief housekeeping (how to contact me and confidentiality). We will then move into the challenges that you are facing as well as the strengths that you bring with you. We will set some initial goals and begin to develop a plan for our therapy sessions.
