Hello, my name is Melanie, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2020 with a master’s degree in social work with a discipline in Substance Use and Mental Health. I have a sincere passion for helping others through difficult times and offering them a safe space to be themselves. I know it is difficult to talk about our problems and when needed, I like to add a touch of humor to lighten things up. By utilizing different treatment modalities and interventions I aid in teaching basic life skills, coping with trauma, depression, anxiety and life transitions.
