You wake to another day, feeling apprehension and fear. You experience physical symptoms; a pit in your stomach, fast heartbeat, and uneasiness. The constant voice in your head reminds you of all of the “shoulds” and “what if’s”. Feelings of hopelessness and depression take over. You have tried to share your feelings with friends and family members, only to be told, you worry too much and just need to relax. You try to relax and appreciate all of the good in your life, but that doesn’t make you feel better. You focus on pushing forward and getting things done, but it is hard to concentrate. You are tired of feeling this way.
