Hi, my name is Melissa. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and I have a passion for helping others to meet their full potential. In treatment, I value a fulfilling therapeutic relationship, collaboration to meet specific goals, and continued motivation for change. With the use of CBT, an evidence-based approach, I provide a solid direction in treatment, psychoeducation, structured sessions, an action plan for in-between sessions, and maintained professionalism. I work best with anyone needing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adults with relational issues, and adolescents 14 years or older. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions in young adults, trauma, and self-esteem. I have advanced training in DBT, Schema Therapy, and CBT for Personality Disorders. I provide different formats of therapy including individual therapy, group therapy, and family/relationship therapy.
