Mercedes is a licensed graduate professional counselor who strives to foster a safe and warm, welcoming environment. She is empathic and creates a nonjudgmental space. Mercedes believes everyone has a unique journey and navigates one’s treatment to fit one’s personal needs and concerns. She uses person-centered therapy to create a collaborative effort between both the therapist and client, to help support individuals achieve their objectives. She is goal-oriented and solution-focused. Mercedes goal is to foster autonomy within individuals so they may apply their knowledge and develop personally outside of the therapeutic setting.
