Hesci! My name is Merissa. As a queer, bicultural woman and a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA, my approach to therapy is trauma-informed and intersectional. I focus on compounded challenges such as cultural background, race, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We will also explore family systems and attachment styles, working together to change patterns and defense mechanisms that may no longer serve you. Through our sessions, we will creatively bring unconscious material into awareness, offering a more balanced relationship with your Self, while integrating parts of you that have been abandoned, neglected
