My career has spanned various professional settings including psychosocial rehabilitation, community mental health, and community corrections. I hold degrees in Psychology, Organizational Leadership, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Throughout my practice, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, people with substance use disorders, and those with severe and persistent mental illnesses. I use a person-centered, humanistic approach to mental health treatment, developed by Carl Rogers, which emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
