became a therapist due to several factors: 1) When I was 14 years old, a close friend completed suicide and until this day none of us close to him know why. This was the start to my journey. 2) After college I moved to NYC and began working in foster care and saw first-hand how trauma starts every and can have a lasting impact on an individual's life. 3) I have always had a passion for helping and assisting since my early years. These are the 3 key ingredients that played a major part into why I became a mental health provided. Our first session will focus on exploring what has brought you here and beginning to build rapport. You can expect a relaxed and supportive atmosphere with open, direct communication. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident that you’ve found a therapist you can trust and feel at ease with.
