Often people feel somewhat unclear about how they hope therapy can help. This is entirely understandable. As we get some experience together, I'll help you understand how the process works and how best to engage your sessions. Therapy is a process of self discovery where you'll get to learn about how your mind works. You'll come to see for yourself the reasons that change was so difficult. This is what helps people to feel better and more in control of their lives. My training has been extensive and includes a doctoral degree from the California School of Professional Psychology, and 5 years of post doctoral training at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center. I am a trained psychoanalyst.
