As your therapist, I seek to co-create a space in which you can share all parts of yourself in order to facilitate a deeper understanding of who you are. I know that choosing to engage in therapy is often both a courageous and vulnerable decision, making the therapeutic relationship fundamental to the experience. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, building coping skills, self-exploration and awareness, and a justice framework. I believe that context always matters, and it is necessary to understand both the external and internal circumstances impacting your ability to thrive. I believe that all therapeutic work must be grounded in a rich understanding of power, privilege, and oppression and I have specific experience working with undergraduate and graduate college students experiencing a wide range of issues, as well as adults who are new to therapy.
