As a Psychologist with 35 + years in practice, I continue to study discoveries in neuroscience and human behavior, and while I'm glad of that, what I know is that counseling is about talking through the hard stuff - shame, blame, fear, anger, criticism, grief, forgiveness, and all the rest.
