Taking the step to seek treatment is incredibly brave but can be daunting; clients can expect that I will be a warm, active participant who is honored to guide them through the process. I work with children, teens, and adults to explore how elements of their histories may contribute to their current concerns and interfere with their ability to thrive. My specialization is in loss and trauma but I also treat anxiety, mood instability, parenting, and relationship issues. Clients at times have difficulty connecting with others or achieving their goals; I frequently integrate various tools and techniques to best help each individual. I am a NY/NJ licensed psychologist with advanced training in evidence-based treatment for loss and trauma in children and adults. I was educated in a psychodynamic framework and was trained in CBT, ACT, narrative, & play therapy in clinical practice. I practice using mainly CBT and insight-oriented therapies but often integrate to best meet client needs.
