As a black woman-- I can relate to & have experienced the challenges of navigating through a society that limits my identity, mobility & clouds my potentials. Viewed as a person of color in today's world comes with many layer-- you may find yourself feeling hopeless, isolated, misunderstood, disrespected & feel pressured to wear different masks to ensure other people feel comfortable. Life can be compiled of pain, fear, anxiety, injustice & also light, love & compassion-- how do we balance ourselves day-to-day? You are not alone, my approach to healing is to provide a safe, honest & supportive space to embrace your authentic-self. My experiences are compose of 6+ years of Community Mental Health with at-risk youth, transitional aged, & families affected by unhealthy generational patterns to working with adults who are severely developmentally delayed and/or autistic. My specialty include vicarious & experienced severe trauma, victim(s) of trafficking, (non)complex anxiety & depression
