When working with a client, knowledge is essential to being motivated for change. Connecting the mind and body through education is important in understanding the whole body approach to mental health, and substance use recovery. I have been working in mental health for 2 decades in various settings and disciplines. I consider myself very genuine and affirming. I strive to meet clients where they are at regarding needs and direction of the therapeutic relationship.
