I utilize evidence-based modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to empower those I work with to create positive change in their lives. I employ a person-centered approach and believe that the therapeutic alliance is the single most important aspect of the the therapy process. We will spend the first few sessions getting to know one another and building trust and rapport. We will work together to identify your goals for therapy and outline clear and understandable steps to meet those goals.
