It is so exhausting living inside a traumatized body and mind. Anxiety that seems to come out of nowhere; thoughts, feelings, and the overwhelm of re-experiencing events. Feelings of unsafety or a constant need to be hyperaware. Insomnia, changes in appetite make matters worse because the body and mind don't get the needed fuel and rest leading to cycles of collapse. The anxiety and collapse cycle can cause us to feel disconnected from ourselves, loved ones and the world. We can lose trust in our own judgment and ability to heal. My approach is informed by a holistic integration of practices to help reconnect mind, body and soul.
