About

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Owner of My Therapy Connection. I am passionate about helping individuals & couples move from a place of brokenness to a path of healing and connection. I work specifically with survivors of divorce, & couples seeking to restore their relationships. I work best with couples who are committed to doing the work to overcoming traumatic relationship experiences, such as affairs and betrayal. I have a Level 1 Training Certificate in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, am certified in FFT-FC, completed Levels 1 & 2 in The Gottman Method for Couples, and received formal CBT training. I often use bibliotherapy and cinematherapy to relate to my clients, & have multiple training certificates from my over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I draw a lot from my personal and professional experiences of trauma and loss, and because of these experiences, I am better able to relate to my clients.
