Many of us come to therapy wanting something to improve in our lives, relationships with ourselves or others, moods, habits, states of mind and body etc. We might be stuck in old patterns, struggling to have trusting relationships, or asking for our needs to be met effectively. We may have feelings of low self-worth or being flooded with emotions or anxiety. There may be patterns of relating to ourselves/others of people pleasing, over-working, perfectionism, or self-criticism. I work with mind and body so that there is not only understanding, but a felt sense of coming home to true self. We begin to understand what has been needed and longed for all this time (safety, belonging, ease, authenticity, freedom, expression, boundary setting, play, being cared for, peace etc.) Then, together we work to help you meet your goals.
