I want to support you and your loved ones as soon as you get a diagnosis of dementia. There is so much to this disease and it is imperative that you have someone experienced in this area of care. Don't be alone and frustrated, if you can help it. Therapy is a great way to provide support for yourself through this challenging and lengthy disease process. My ideal client is someone who is open to working on triggers as they come up, who wants more in life than just to survive this disease, and who, at the very least, is open to psychoeducation on dementia. I'm able to assess and help treat any underlying depression and anxiety. I am also a Trauma Informed Therapist.
