Hello, my name is Mike Johnson, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who is passionate about helping individual adults and couples process their trauma, improve their relationships, and find more motivation for their life. My practice focuses on helping people recognize aspects of their life that are not working, such as managing reoccurring flashbacks, improving communication, and identifying what gets you motivated. My approach is working from an existential and solution focused perspective, or more simply put, finding meaning in your life by focusing on the present-day struggles and what future you want for yourself. Let's take a look at your life, your authentic self, and what you are striving for. We will look at what has worked out for you, what isn’t working now, and explore ways we can start to shift you into reaching your desired goals. We will build new skills, explore your aspects of your life, and work towards living life in a meaningful way.
