Effective treatment inspires measurable positive change. My approach to therapy is to provide empirically-based interventions in a warm, collaborative and transparent manner. As Miami's first DBT certified therapist, I work with individuals who have difficulty managing their emotions, relationships and behaviors. I also teach mindfulness and behavior change strategies to promote psychological flexibility and therefore overall well-being. Our practice offers a fully adherent DBT program for adolescents, parents and adults wanting to improve interpersonal skills, distress tolerance skills and emotion regulation skills. View 7 Photos My specialty is working with adolescents, adults and parents with difficulties in emotional dysregulation (i.e. self-harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, substance abuse) and helping the family system move out of chaos. I also particularly enjoy working with adults and business professionals looking for skill-building to help move toward desired goals.
