My approach involves genuine caring and acceptance, in a non-judgmental atmosphere, as well as utilizing evidence-based techniques. I choose counseling techniques that are unique to each individual's needs and empower them to be a part of their process of positive change. I have a very diverse background and have worked with children, teens, adults, and geriatric populations. Some of my core approaches to counseling are client-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, ACT and a specialization in Accelerated Resolution Therapy to target traumatic memories and images. Even one session can significantly reduce triggers of PTSD.
