I have been working as a therapist for more than 10 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Before that, I used to be a Family Support Worker and a Case Manager for children involved with the Dependency System and their families as well as the foster families caring for them during the times they were living apart from their families or other primary caregivers. As a LCSW, I work with children, youth, and families facing challenges such as ADHA, adjustment disorders, family conflict/communication issues, and parenting. My approach combines warmth, compassion, evidence-based therapies like CBT, and a blend of acceptance and commitment therapy to assist my clients in developing healthy coping skills. I also include mindfulness techniques to foster grounded, meaningful change.
