I aim to hold the irreplaceable humanity of each person I interact with in the highest regard. I strive to provide ethical, individualized counseling while maintaining the importance of the counseling relationship and establishing trust as my highest priority. Having served in the Education field for six years, I found a passion for the emotional and mental health of my students, their families, and the teaching community as a whole, which led me to pursue a degree in counseling. I have experience helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, substance abuse, and intimate partner violence from a trauma-informed perspective. I use Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), among other modalities customized for each client. I am a solution-focused counselor. I am an EMDRIA approved EMDR counselor.
