A Place of Refuge exists to be a safe place for individuals. Some may want help navigating through daily life due to anxiety or depression. Others experience stress and distress from various relationships and life situations. And still others may want to process through pain and trauma. Everyone desires to be seen and heard and my goal is to create an environment where healing can take place and hope can be found. I want to be a safe place for clients by attuning to their emotions, thoughts and behaviors. I'll teach clients skills that will help them regulate their own emotions, communicate effectively and understand why they behave in particular ways. Previously, I was a pastor's wife so I long to be a safe place for others who are in that same role.
