Children experience the world differently than adults. When they feel overwhelmed, confused, or unheard, they may not yet have the words to explain what they are feeling. Through play, children are able to express emotions, process experiences, and build the skills they need to grow. My role is to meet children where they are and provide a safe, supportive space for that growth to happen. Hi! My name is Mollee Helmick, and I I specialize in working with children as young as 2 years old and adolescents, using developmentally appropriate, evidence-based approaches. View 4 Photos My work is rooted in the therapeutic relationship and incorporates Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR. These approaches allow children to express themselves naturally while learning skills for emotional regulation, communication, and coping with life’s challenges.
