About
I am a psychotherapist who has experience working with adults, couples, children, and families. My professional background encompasses work in social service agencies, both in clinical and community roles, as well as in private group practice. I approach my work with admiration and sensitivity to the vulnerability that individuals bring to the therapeutic process. I view therapy as an opportunity for personal growth and development. It is my privilege to offer guidance in this process. I work with clients who are experiencing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, family/relationship issues, and life transitions. In my first session with clients, I like to ask them to describe what brings them to therapy in their own words. Throughout the session, I will ask further questions to understand the client's goals, expectations for therapy, and what they are looking for from their therapist.
