Looking for the right therapist can sometimes seem to be a daunting and overwhelming task. It is often difficult to find just the right fit. I am a New York State licensed psychologist as well as a retired New York State certified school psychologist. I have been in clinical practice in the St. James/ Smithtown area since 1996. I work with both adults and children who are coping with symptoms of anxiety and depression, often in response to challenging and stressful life events such as a traumatic loss or a difficult transition. I believe therapy should be a warm and supportive experience.
