Dr. Kim has had considerable experience providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy to children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families from diverse backgrounds. She has provided psychotherapy for a wide range of concerns, including anger management issues, anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, trauma, inattention, disruptiveness, and social communication disorders. Dr. Kim also specializes in working with individuals and families with an immigration background. She has conducted research on the adjustment experience of recent immigrants to academic environments in the U.S. Finally, Dr. Kim provides both monolingual (English) and bilingual (English/Korean) psychological evaluations. Her areas of assessment include ADHD, Learning Disability, Developmental Disability, Personality assessments.
