I call it "The Business of Living." We face challenges in daily life that interfere with living our best lives. My work focuses on concerns associated with anxiety, depression, loss and grief, and substance misuse. I am a Distinguished Professor Emerita from the University of South Carolina, an experienced therapist and supervisor with a solid history of working with individuals, couples and families. I am trained in EMDR, a useful tool in dealing with trauma and its obstacles. My practice is based in brief, effective, and accessible solutions to challenges in life, and paths to integrating them into the Business of Living.
