If I had to guess, you’re aiming to find someone you can relate to, someone who will understand what you’re dealing with, someone who can help you because they’ve been there too. The truth is: no one else has lived your same life. From day one, we are shaped by our families, our cultures, our experiences, whether triumphant or traumatic, and through these experiences, we become unique individuals. However, you and I also share several human commonalities. Like you, I know depression and hurt. I know anxiety and fear. Whatever our differences, I believe we can find common ground, and that is where the therapeutic relationship begins. I use an integrative approach, combining techniques from many therapeutic sources to tailor therapy to meet the needs of each unique client. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients.
