My work with clients focuses on understanding somatic experiences and how our bodies experience stressors and traumas. We collaboratively explore what lies beneath the present moment experience to uncover ways that mind and body are connected to drive both emotional and physical pain. The use of skills in the short-term can decrease immediate pain and open the door to a deeper exploration of underlying experiences. Through the use of attachment and connection (and some humor!), I love working with clients to shift patterns. I firmly believe that we cannot separate the micro from the macro-we are all a part of the systems around us.
