Over the past 20 years, I have worked along side law enforcement officers. The impact of chronic exposure to trauma—especially secondary trauma—can shape every part of our lives: our bodies, our relationships, our thinking, and our sense of wellbeing. I have lived experience and am a emergency responder and public-safety–certified clinician (ERPSCC). At the core of my approach is the belief that every person deserves to be seen and met exactly where they are. I use a direct, solution-focused style supported by humor and a touch of sarcasm to create a space that feels real, grounded, and manageable—even when the work is hard. My work is grounded in both lived experience and advanced clinical training, allowing my approach to be practical, honest, and useful on and off the job. I use evidence-based, trauma-informed practices to address mental injuries that include depression, anxiety, PTSD, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue that often come with serving on the front lines.
