Many of us have had challenging experiences in our life that despite how much time has passed it still feels like it was just yesterday. Maybe we feel it’s unfair to label an experience as a “trauma” because we often doubt the intensity of our concerns or get lost in comparing ourselves to others by thinking “I didn’t have it as bad as they did.” Trauma can be enduring “too much for too long,” “too much too quickly” or “not enough for too long.” Wherever you fall on the spectrum of trauma symptoms (intense anxiety, intrusive and ruminating thoughts, increased irritability, depression, hypervigilance..) I am here to help. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience. I offer a compassionate, strengths-based, client-centered approach, and I am committed to providing personalized care tailored to your unique needs. I incorporate a multi-model approach to include the use of EMDR, CBT and DBT to treat individuals with a variety of concerns.
