Hi! I am a Nigel! I recently moved to the Capital District area (Albany, NY). I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist who enjoys working with adults of all ages. I work with people seeking treatment for trauma, people going through life transitions, work stress or conflict, relationship issues, or people seeking to deepen their understanding of themselves. I view therapy as a collaborative process, and aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space to understand the reasons you are seeking treatment, and to explore patterns, blocks, and conflicts as they emerge. I work with people of all ages, genders, and identities to build skills that address depressive symptoms. My main area of expertise is in working with survivors of PTSD and/or childhood trauma. I am very intentional about cultivating an LGBTQ+ affirming and sex-/body-positive practice and a creating a space for black bodies to thrive.
